Repair & Re-manufacture per API 16AR

HOT focused on Repair and Remanufacture of BOP’s with other product segments with clean QP’s and Validated procedures developed fully in line with API-16AR and API Spec Q1.

Wherever required beyond direct OEM repairs, HOT will cope with requirements of 16AR which requires creation of Design packages including Design Calculations, creation of BOM’s and relevant traceability records thru Engineering with Design Verification and Validation to suit the Product under CPD (Current Product Design) from OPD for a CEM to certify.
Here is how the COC will be issued for NON OEM based repairs.
a. Creation of Inspection Reports along with Parts Sketch (with Dimensions)
b. Create Drawings from the inspection reports
c. Create Design Calculations and Design Package with Verification by Alternate Design Calculations in line with API Spec Q1.
d. Product Validation’s by pressure testing
e. HOT as CEM will issue the COC to Customer
The above stands are mandatory, one cannot just go with equal drawings, need to do the re-engineering Design packages for all R&R equipment’s and get COC’d with proper Design packages in line with API Spec Q1 mandatorily.
